Detroit Scrap Shear Blades
are installed in both mobile and stationary shears with equal
success. DETCO produces
scrap shear blades for most of the OEMS in both types of shears.
Typically, mobile scrap shears are used on demolition sites
and stationary shears are used in scrap processing operations
located in processing yards, steel mills, and recycling operations.
Scrap material is a renewable resource and is in keeping with
our environmental safe- guards of minimizing the use of our
natural resources, for producing various types of metals.
Scrap shears are not limited to recycling metals. In some
cases they are used in processing building materials such
as dry-wall and plaster, wood and wood by-products, conduit.
They are able to shear entire car bodies, with their many
non-metallic components, i.e.: rubber, plastics, and composites.
